Wild Boar hunting in Texas is a great winter getaway, and ultimate hunting adventure. As the owner and founder of Arrowhead Outfitters, I invite you to join Arrowhead Outfitters in sunny Central Texas on a thrilling, guided Wild Boar, Coyote and Bobcat hunt. Arrowhead Outfitters has been successfully hunting over 100,000+ acres of private ranches with NO HIGH FENCE for over 10 years. Wild Boars with huge tusks, weighing over 400 pounds are harvested by our clients every year.

We are especially successful due to the many different ranches we hunt with numerous feeder locations and plentiful, prime hog habit. Further, we only conduct our hunts from February 1 through approximately Mid April each year when the Texas climate is most favorable. Hunting in this manner puts minimal pressure on the Wild Hogs thus increasing our hunter’s success and enjoyment.

Our hunts are conducted in a variety of different ways including, spot and stalk and stand or blind hunting game trails, wallowing holes, feeder locations, etc. Hunters may bring their choice of rifle, bow or muzzleloader or a combination.

Unlike game farms who generally charge you for each hog taken, we do not charge by the number of Wild Boar you shoot. We also harvest Larger Boars than most game farms as they must pay for each animal on the farm, and bigger boars with large tusks cost more. Our hunters shoot Large Wild, Free Roaming, Boars with Big Tusks on every hunt and it doesn't cost them a penny more.

Our central Texas hunting areas have plentiful bobcat and coyote greatly increasing your opportunity to harvest them and on occasion, our hunters have spotted mountain lions. Yes, Mountain Lions! In fact, in the past 6 years as early as last year, our hunters have seen and missed several, so keep your eyes out! If you are a bobcat and/or coyote hunter, your hunt will be expanded by having an experienced guide call bobcat and coyote into close range for you.

Note about Bobcat in Central Texas from Howard Tieden, Owner and founder of Arrowhead Outfitters: “I worked as a federal trapper in Colorado for over 6 years and called and shot coyotes professionally. I have also called coyote, fox and bobcat in Arizona, Utah and Wyoming. I believe that out of all these states, Texas offers the best chance to harvest a bobcat.”
